Worthy State Deputy:
Attached are current lists as of November 1, 2008 of the Certified First
Degree teams, Partially Certified First Degree teams, Certified Second
Degree teams along with the number of Certified CO's and Certified Third
Degree teams in your jurisdiction.
Certified 1st Degree Teams
Certified 2nd/3rd Degree Teams
Partially Certified 1st Degree Teams
As a reminder, the District Deputy is responsible for certifying the
council teams within his district. Teams are encouraged to have multiple
members certified in each role, so that the First Degree can be conducted
on a regular and recurring basis. This way a team is not dependent upon
the same members to always be available. There are several First Degree
teams that have on the pending list for a long time. There are several
teams that only need minor roles to be certified to become fully certified.
The D.D.'s may be unaware of the statue due to changes in D.D.'s or
district assignments. To date 16,783 dedicated members have become fully
certified on 2,439 teams. Please encourage your District Deputies to make
certain that all of the certifications of teams and personnel is processed
to my office as soon as possible. All additional member certifications
should also be completed on the Form 543.
The Second Degree teams certifications are going well. To date 713 Second
Degree teams have been made with 213 already certified. State Deputies and
State Ceremonials Chairman are responsible for the certification of the
Second Degree team. Teams need to pick a name, that is not a "District"
number, as these numbers change as time goes by, thus having a team name,
avoids much confusion. After review of the lists, if you do not see certain
teams, please contact my office as, we don't have (or are waiting for)
information. The Second Degree must be presented as revised, in all
countries and all languages without exception.
Please send Third Degree schedules for the current and upcoming 6-month
period, as soon as possible. For those that are conducting Workshop
Version revised Third Degree's please send me your observations and
thoughts, and remind your C.O.'s and Team Captains to do likewise and as
soon as possible. Those teams and CO's conducting the revised Third Degree
should continue to do so, until further notice. In cases where the CO and
team are conducting the revised degree, the mandatory CO/Team rotation will
be waived, however, the CO Report 535 must acknowledge that the revised
degree was conducted, for reimbursement.
As always, if any challenges remain in your jurisdiction regarding the
Ceremonials do not hesitate to contact the office. God Bless and Vivat
Jesus!
