As a resident of California, you will be able to vote on a proposed constitutional amendment protecting marriage referendum one week from today. The New Jersey Knights of Columbus, supported by the Supreme Council, has produced a 12 minute video on same-sex marriage in conjunction with the New Jersey Catholic Conference. It is not state-specific, and can be used anywhere to help educate Catholic voters on the issue.

At the Supreme Convention in Quebec City in August, delegates adopted a resolution stating that "we will never waver in our efforts to promote the Church's understanding of marriage as the faithful, exclusive and lifelong union of one man and one woman joined in an intimate partnership of life and love."  (read the full text of the resolution here)  The time to join in protecting marriage is now, and by sharing this video message, you can help to make the difference.
