Other Upcoming Prolife Events and Announcements

"40 Days for Life":  Attached is the flyer for Fall 2008; please start distributing them and inviting your Pastor and church/parish to participate!  We especially need and greatly welcome Protestant Churches to participate! See more details at the national website http://www.40daysforlife.com and our local website http://www.40daysforlife.com/sacramento/  Our next planning meeting will be Monday, September 8th,  7:00 pm at Monsignor Kavanagh Center, St. Rose Parish, 5905 Franklin Blvd, Sacramento, continuing each Monday evening through September 22nd.   We hope everyone can join us!

Blessings have already started!  We may have an opportunity to rent an office space right next door to the abortion mill ("Choice Medical Group") at Butano Drive for the "40 Days"!  Wouldn't that be incredible!  We are hoping to provide families with referrals to life-affirming resources in our community and provide a compassionate, prayerful refuge for women who may be facing this very sad "choice".  This particular abortion facililty advertises abortions up to 24 weeks in the phone book.  Please pray for God's will to be done as there are many, many details that have to "come together" for this beatiful vision to become a reality.   I can only imagine what He has planned for us here in Sacramento as we join faithful people throughout the world, praying and fasting to end abortion.

We are now accepting donations to cover the expenses for this Fall "40 Days for Life".  Tax deductible donation checks should be made payable to "Cherish California's Children", with "40 Days for Life" on the Memo line.  Please contact our Treasurer, Pastor John Stoos at  916-451-5660 if you have any questions about donations.  Pastor Stoos is the Director of Cherish California's Children, the organization which provides the "Before You Choose" prolife pamphlets in both English and Spanish for distribution free of charge, and he has graciously served as Treasurer of  "40 Days".  See more about Cherish California at http://www.cherishCA.com   The 501C3 ID Charitable Tax Exempt number is:  2344643
